how to take care
of your Tihani suit
Salt water, sun, sand… every summer your swimwear goes through a lot.
With the right care, it will stay beautiful season after season.
after each use
Rinse your swimwear in cold fresh water to remove salt, chlorine, sand and sunscreen residues.
If you can’t rinse it immediately, avoid leaving it rolled up in a towel or bag. Let it air out until you can wash it properly.
Washing
We strongly recommend hand washing your surfsuit in cold water, as gently as possible. This is the best way to preserve the fabric, elasticity and colour over time.
Use a delicate detergent and avoid rubbing or twisting the fabric. After washing, rinse your swimsuit thoroughly with clean water. Machine washing is not recommended and should only be used if absolutely necessary, on a delicate cold cycle.
Take extra care when removing surf wax, as it can become difficult to wash off once it builds up in the fabric.
drying
Lay flat to dry in the shade, away from direct sunlight. Prolonged sun exposure while drying can cause colours to fade and weaken the fibres.
Dry inside out for extra protection.
Do not tumble dry.
Do not iron.
Do not dry clean.
Please note that prints and colours may naturally soften over time depending on frequency of use and UV exposure.
Treat it with love 🤍
